NYC Photo Club Holiday Sale

This is a first for me.   My photography club is hosting a holiday sale (think art fair) at the Center.   Having never participated in an event like this before I had to spend a lot of time thinking about how to approach it.   It's easy to just say bring a lot of pictures, but they have to be prepared and presented properly.   And then there's inventory - how much to have, how much to spend and how much to charge.

I'll just have to wait and see how it works out.   I hope it's worth it.   It would be nice to participate in an art fair maybe once or twice a year for a little extra bread.

I'm bringing 60 new prints in 11 x 14 mats as the main items.   I also have a few other sizes, ranging from 8 x 10 to 16 x 20; some framed, some matted and some just prints.   And orders can be placed for prints of photographs that aren't available at the show.   Lugging all this stuff to the Center should be fun.   Hopefully I won't have to lug too much of it back home.
